Founded in 1945 by Lillian Nassau, the gallery is the world-renowned authority on all work made by Louis Comfort Tiffany and Tiffany Studios including the windows, lamps, blown glass, pottery, mosaics, and metalwork. Acquired in October, 2006, by long-time Managing Director, Arlie Sulka, Lillian Nassau LLC continues to dominate the field with its expertise and scholarship, carrying on the enduring legacy of Mrs. Nassau, who has been credited with almost single-handedly reviving the interest in Tiffany’s work. Under Ms. Sulka’s tenure, the gallery has expanded its specialization to Mid-Century Modern Furniture and Design.
