Innholder, Henry A. Sill operated Sill's Inn in Windsor, Connecticut between 1816-1819.

William Rice (1777-1847) was the preeminent ornamental painter of the first quarter of the nineteenth century. He opened his shop in Hartford, Connecticut in 1816. Approximately twenty signs executed by William Rice are known.
