I have been long enough about it, but everything comes in the right time excepting Old maids’ wedding days and seasonable rains. For it is very dry at this time. June 20th. [signed] T Prince.

Evenly toned, minor staining, upper left corner missing, lower right corner restored. Original frame and backboards.
An iconographical masterpiece depicting an American eagle with a banner and shield reading, “We are one,” symbolizing the birth of our new nation at the beginning of the new Federation.
